April 6 2007
Once again the traditional Good Friday Meeting will be held at South London’s Herne Hill Velodrome.

First promoted in 1903, this Southern Counties Cycling Union event is set to continue in the manner which has become its hallmark - exciting, entertaining racing featuring top class riders from home and abroad.

Outside bars, catering units and traders stalls will all add to the carnival atmosphere of this unique occasion so make a note in your diary now: Friday April 6.

It's early days in the planning stage, but already a few 'stars' have indicated that they wish to take part & who could blame them?.

Under sunny skies the velodrome is packed with noisy & very enthusiastic spectators who bang the boards in support of the competitors.

As ever the racing will feature a heady mix of international, national & local riders.

A programme is beginning to come together & more information will be made available as information comes on stream.

The Good Friday meeting website will be updated soon & entry forms will be posted there.

The Good Friday Meeting is organised and promoted by Graham Bristow on behalf of the SOUTHERN COUNTIES CYCLING UNION.
